After reflecting over this semester, my film techniques project I did on Lord of the Rings: The 

Two Towers stuck out to me. I continue to remain proud of this assignment because I enjoy revealing why things are done the way they are. I feel I was able to demonstrate my ability to understand how the directors and creators of Lord of the Rings were able to manipulate each scene to create the mood they wanted. With this assignment I was able to display my ability on almost every outcome. I covered outcome 2 by comprehending the characters and setting in each scene, responding creatively and critically, and especially personally. Outcome 1 was covered as I explored my own personal feelings and experiences, and shared those thoughts with the people I was presenting to by creating a visual and enhancing the scene with me choice of music. (Outcome 4) One of the biggest lessons I learned throughout this course, was the importance of evidence to back up my thoughts.(Outcome 3) I made sure to explain why I constructed the meaning I did, with quotations from the lyrics, and relating those lyrics to the information I already knew about Gollum and Smeagol.
