Reflection: My research project I completed allowed me to understand and interpret the content I was studying on a higher level. (Outcome 2.1.2) Searching the definitions of common words that the three religious beliefs used frequently allowed me to step into their shoes and appreciate diversity of expression, and consider new perspectives. (Outcome 1.2.1 and 5.1.2) To have a better understanding of the story, I am now able to review my inquiry or research process and findings. (Outcome 3.2.4, 2.1.2, 2.1.4) To continue to have further success and growth, I will do voluntary research projects before studying the text, so I come into it will a in-depth understanding. To improve this assignment I should have ordered the definitions in alphabetical order so I could find the words I need help with understanding easier. I should have also listed my sources, which was strictly Wikipedia. This assignment reflects my understanding of the use of evidence and logic because I understand background knowledge on what the characters are going through can put you in their place, making it easier for me to understand their emotions and actions. By reflecting on this project I have learned the importance of research, and am prepared to continue completing more research projects to improve my understanding.
